Ovie, Willow and Chance tested out some of the “bath tubs” that will be used in Unleash the Pawsitive’s inaugural Bathe to Save event, which will take place Saturday, July 30 at the doggy daycare and training facility in Port Elgin.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be demonstrations, a “doggy vendor market” with dog baths and nail trims provided by Tangled Tails Dog Grooming, going for $10 each, or together for $15.

The proceeds from the charity event will go towards Angel Arms Rescue, a non-profit, volunteer based animal rescue organization.

Unleash the Pawsitive has recently built a fence around their new facility to allow more room for outdoor play for dogs involved in Monday to Friday daycare. The daycare runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and now offers full day, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
