In a July 21 media release, the Grey Bruce Health Unit has learned of a website, Health Inspections Canada, that is stating that beaches in Grey and Bruce counties are closed but said that the website is not affiliated with any provincial or federal government agencies and called it “untrustworthy”.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit further said that as of their release date of July 21, no beaches are closed in Grey Bruce and that “reliable information on local beach water quality is available on the Grey Bruce Health Unit’s website".
