At the July 11 Saugeen Shores regular council meeting, it was announced that David Smith has been hired as the Town’s new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

Mayor Mike Smith read from a media release and said that David Smith, "who is no relative of mine" will replace the Town's current CAO, Larry Allison. Allison announced his retirement in March of this year.
