At 1:23 p.m. on June 15, Saugeen Shores Police, Ambulance and Saugeen Shores Fire Service attended to a Saugeen Township farm to a 911 report of an accident.

Upon arrival police located a male who had been struck by the loader bucket of a tractor and had received fatal injuries. Police initiated CPR, these efforts were assisted by Fire and Ambulance personnel but all attempts did not revive the man.

A 22-year-old Saugeen Township man was pronounced dead at the scene by a coroner. The Ministry of Labour attended but will not be investigating.

The Saugeen Shores Police investigation continues.
