Shopping Palooza, the fourth annual bargain sale for children’s toys and gently warn clothing, took over the Plex, May 14.

Formerly known as the Mom to Mom Sale, the event was organized by Kids Street Co-Operative Nursery School in Port Elgin and Multiples in Bruce County, a non-profit group. Funds generated at Shopping Palooza go to help each of the organizations.

Multiples in Bruce County member and one of the Shopping Palooza organizers, Alicia Kaake, was happy with the turn out and diverse group of vendors.

“We have vendors as well as families selling their items, and we have 32 vendors today,” said Kaake.

“We have everything from household items, bath towels, etcetera. It’s been a great success and we've been having people coming back to us saying they really enjoy our venue. Mom and family tables are selling items like clothing, shoes to household items,” Kaake continued.
