Progress continues on the soon-to-be-mounted mural by Artist, Bert De Graaf. The life-size steam train #1532 is due to be unveiled on the wall of the Southampton Market, it’s new home, on the May 24 weekend, as part of the Saugeen Rail Trail Association’s 25th anniversary celebration.
The mural, once complete, will be a depiction of a train from the 1950s, one that would have visited Southampton, and the effect will be three-dimensional.
