St. Lawrence Lodge 131 made a cheque presentation at the Saugeen Shores Masonic Centre on Wednesday, March 16 to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF).

The cheque for $10,000 represents a $2,000 a year pledge over the next five years to the Hospital Foundation from St. Lawrence. The money being raised through their general fundraising. “It's very nice. We're very grateful,” said SMHF Chair, Jonna Ebel.

SMHF Executive Director, Sally Kidson said the money will be used for hospital equipment. “We're looking at getting a BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) machine for Southampton with this.”
