Planning for the 2016 Rotary Homeshow and Food & Drink Expo is well underway and the Rotary Club of Port Elgin is hoping to make it bigger and better.
The show, which showcases products and services for home and garden, outdoor recreation and leisure, will again be held at the Southampton Coliseum and will take place April 9 and 10. After last year’s very successful introduction of the Food & Drink Expo, featuring local restaurants, craft breweries and wineries, it will again be part of the show.
In a press release, the Rotary Club of Port Elgin said that the 2015 show saw a 20 percent increase in visitors, to 1,800, over the previous year, and this year they’re hoping to bring in even more.
“It is the vendors’ support that helped make last year’s show a success. The Homeshow continues to be a great way for visitors to get new ideas, see new products and talk to … experts face-to-face.”
The show will run on Saturday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vendors will be registered on a first come, first served basis and please note that the Annex side will be reserved for restaurants and similar food business so if you are wanting to take part in the Homeshow portion, make your booth selection on the Coliseum side.
You can visit the Port Elgin Rotary Home and Recreation Show website or their Registraiton Page to register.
