Hi I'm John Rich and I'm running to be one of the Ward councillors for Southampton. My hope is to build on the success of Saugeen Shores and ensure we create a community that inspires health, creativity and economic success far into the future. We could live anywhere we want but have chosen here because of lifestyle and opportunity. Let's make sure those opportunities continue to exist for our children.

I have spent the last four years as a Councillor for the Port Elgin Ward and over that time have learned a lot about the running of municipal government.
