Bruce Power is providing more than $50,000 to local food banks and Christmas hamper programs this holiday season.

In a Bruce Power media release, the donations will assist 25 food banks and Christmas hamper programs across Bruce, Grey and Huron counties.

Bruce Power is also making a donation to eight municipalities and community organizations to support Christmas parades, including Kincardine Chamber of Commerce, Ripley Business Community, Lucknow Chamber of Commerce, Mildmay Chamber of Commerce, Paisley and District Chamber of Commerce, Walkerton Kinsmen, Municipality of South Bruce, and the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce.
