Saugeen Shores saw the grand opening of its newest real estate office June 29 as Kincardine's Royal LePage Exchange Realty Co., Brokerage officially opened their Port Elgin office with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The new office is located downtown at 680 Goderich Street, the former Belle of the Boudoir and neighbouring SELF Beauty were renovated in the spring, merging two retail spaces into one.

Broker and owner Natasa Roufos said that of the 21 Royal LePage Exchange Realty agents, 12 will be working in the Port Elgin office.

Guests, visitors and local dignitaries were in attendance June 29 and were treated to a buffet and cake indoors while live music, Irish dancing demonstrations, face painting and games took place outside.

Roufos said she was excited about opening an office in Saugeen Shores. “Our agents were already selling and trading in this area, however we never actually had a home,” she said and added that their Kincardine office reached their agent capacity in 2018. “An opportunity presented itself that we saw was a perfect location and we thought would be perfect for expansion," she said.

“We feel very welcomes by the community and we hope to serve the community in the best way we can,” said Roufos.
