Destinations Unlimited held a Disney Day on April 23 to commemorate receiving a special designation from Disney Vacations. “We’ve always been Disney specialists,” said Robert Burton, partner in the travel agency, “but Disney just recently gave us a designation to be an elite agency so we’re now authorized Disney Vacation planners.”

Burton said it was all thanks to the community. “The community’s been really good to us by booking with us so we owe a lot of it to the community,” said Burton, who added that in addition to Disney holiday sales at the agency, there was special training involved that resulted in the designation.

There were goodie bags, cotton candy, and cake on hand to celebrate. And a draw for a Disney backpack and tote bag.

Stacey Dufton came in to Destinations Unlimited with her two daughters, Brooke and Kylie, to find out what all the buzz was about.

When asked if they had ever been on a Disney vacation, Dufton said, “No, this is exactly why we’re here.”

Burton said many who came into the agency the day of the event booked Disney vacations. “It’s going really well,” she said May 13.
