Open seven days a week, Angelic Nails & Spa in Port Elgin has transformed the former B.J.’s Video location into a clean, and tranquil environment with the aim to please and pamper anyone who steps through its front doors.

From Gel to Acrylic Nails, Waxing, Eyebrow Tinting, Facials to Eyelash Extensions the skilled staff at Angelic Nails & Spa are available seven days a week and have experience from all over Canada.

Manager Salina Dinh, formerly of Toronto, fell in love with the area after a girls getaway with her then pregnant sister.

“It was accidental really,” said Dinh during an interview December 7. “We drove around Owen Sound and nothing was available for pampering. We went to a place in Southampton where they could only take one, but we both wanted to get something done at the same time together.”

Dinh and her sister then came up with the idea to settle down in Saugeen Shores and bring their skills to the area, as well as other skilled nail technicians Dinh has met from across Canada.

“People here are so friendly, it’s a really nice feeling, I feel that people actually want us here,” said Dinh.

There is a special promotion this holiday season for nail art and designs, by hand, without airbrush as well as manicure and pedicure combos.

Angelic Nails and Spa is located at 537 Goderich Street (formerly B.J.’s Video) and is open seven days a week. Monday– Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. And Sundays from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
