As the holiday season now upon us in a year of uncertainty and change, one thing that remains the same is that for many this is a time of year for families and friends to celebrate, even if those celebrations may look different than they have in the past.
The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) has reimagined their programs and events in December.
In a BCM&CC media release, the “Holiday Tea & Social” December 3 delivers an afternoon of specialty teas, delectable seasonal treats, live music by Adrian Little and an opportunity to welcome the season.
Bring your little explorers to “Santa-See Visits”, a new take on visiting with Santa COVID style. For the first three Saturday in December, from 1pm to 3pm, Santa and Mrs Claus will be at the BCM&CC ready to read your Christmas wishes and to wave hello. Preregistration is required for this event.
Create “Memories of Christmas and Holiday Traditions” at the Museum on December 19 from 1pm to 4pm. Fill your afternoon with holiday activities, games, treats and exploring Bruce County history.
When you are a BCM&CC member you not only receive free admission to the Museum for the whole year, but you also receive discounts on programs and events like these, plus free admission to four more area museums. From now until noon on December 23, 2020 when you renew or purchase a Museum membership you will also be entered to win a $250 Bruce County Dining Out Pack.
