The 15th annual dinghy Poker Run held at the Port Elgin Harbour saw 137 people, the highest amount of participants in the event's history, race from dock to dock to collect the best poker hand September 2.

The 15th annual Dinghy Poker Run inside the waters of the Port Elgin Harbour saw the greatest number of entrants in its history with 137 people racing through the water, splashing and even soaking their way to the best poker hand on September 2.
The five points of destination saw people in dinghies and even a few canoes, pick from a deck of cards while attempting to avoid being soaked by other boaters or by super soakers on the sidelines.
With four of a kind, Crystal Eagleson was the winner of the annual Run, with her ace and queen high edging out Russ Wilson who had four of a kind with aces and 6 high. Gary McMillan had four a kind and fourth place went to Olivia VanKessel with a full house.
The event was also fundraiser for the Liv-A-Little Foundation and raised $1,375 towards Cystinosis research.
The best hands of the day were two four of a kinds.
While most entrants had dinghies, this motorized canoe evaded the sprays from those on the sidelines.
People of all ages enjoyed soaking the other contestants during the 15th annual Dinghy Poker Run.
