The Canadian Big Band got people on their feet September 16 when they played at Unifor’s Main Assembly Dance Hall, part of the 23rd annual Canadian Big Band Celebration.

Musicians and their wide range of talent took over various Saugeen Shores venues September 15 to 17 for the 23rd annual Canadian Big Band Celebration.
With shuttles in the mix jazz lovers could hop from performance to performance with acts playing at nine locations throughout Saugeen Shores for Friday Night Jazz
Saturday’s Big Event then took over Unifor’s Main Assembly Dance Hall, with daytime performances by the Lulu’s Band and Ian Thomas as well as evening stylings from the Canadian Big Band with guest singers Ethan Salmon of Saugeen Shores and Andrea Hodgkiss.
The final day of music featured at Jazz Brunch at Unifor on Sunday and a special Canada 150 performance by the Chantry Singers.
The Canadian Big Band has notably played alongside acts such as Michael Buble, Tony Bennett and Diana Krall.
