Summer Music's Gala performance highlight camp achievements

A week of crafting musical technique and learning new compositions was highlighted with a final performance for family and friends at Summer Music’s Gala performance July 28 at the Southampton Coliseum Annex, the Southampton United Church and the Walker House.

The week-long music experience celebrated 30 years of making music in Southampton July 24 to 28, which featured over 40 musicians teaching the music to students who enrolled.

Morning performances in the Gala included the Tots & Tunes program, Musical Beginnings, Instrumental Beginnings and Guitar. The afternoon performance at the Annex included performances by the Junior Band, the Percussion Ensemble, Intermediate Band, the Senior Band and the Coral class. The Walker House hosted the final act, a Jazz performance and all of the performance had a Canada 150 theme.
