It was a slippery situation at G.C. Huston Public School as students and staff members embraced suds, water and school spirit on the last Friday of the school year, June 23.
With over 20 bottles of bio-degradable soap on hand, the second annual Slip ’N Slide procured smiles and excitement from the boisterous students who were split into grade levels for more sliding time. Daring students took a run at the slide, while Principal Dan Russell made sure there were no collisions at the bottom, where many students found puddles to play and jump in following their ride down the slide.
