Hundreds of Saugeen Shores residents and visitors attended the 13th annual Bruce Power Beach Party at Port Elgin's main beach on July 16 for the free event, full of fun, food and activities.
This event is always a big success and is a great opportunity for the community to come together. James Scongack, Vice President of Corporate Affairs said in a release, “We are very fortunate to operate in such a supportive community, but it’s something we’ll never take for granted. Our annual Beach Party gives us the opportunity to say thanks to local residents and visitors, while enjoying a day of activities and food on the beach, topped off with a fantastic fireworks show at dusk.”
Along with the fireworks and food there were meet-and-greets with Disney princesses, a Super hero show and kite flying demonstrations. Children of all ages excitedly took part in these and the many other activities including; jumping castles, laser tag, face painting, rock climbing and some carnival games.
