Elvis, the Dixie Chicks, Miley Cyrus, and Beyonce are just some of big names that will be represented at Lakeshore Recreation’s Lip Sync Battle, May 28.

Doors open for the entry-by-donation event at 7 p.m. and will feature local musicians Ben Turcotte and Carter Rolland, until the battle begins at 8 p.m.

98 the Beach’s Brian Longmire will host the evening as 12 acts take the stage to perform their way to victory.

Admission proceeds will go towards the Caitlyn Cobean’s Community Crusaders, in support of Tara “Boom” Houston Children’s Foundation (TBHCF).

Caitlyn Cobean’s Community Crusaders was founded by family and friends of Caitlyn, a local teen who sadly lost her battle with cancer in August 2008. The Crusaders, in support of TBHFC, is dedicated to raising funds to help improve the lives of families whose children have been diagnosed with life threatening illnesses.

All money raised at the May 28 event will go to help families in Southwestern Ontario including Grey and Bruce counties.
