Artists from Saugeen Shores have an opportunity to attend the Artwaves Toronto art show on Friday, April 8 at the Holiday Inn, Toronto International Airport, 970 Dixon Rd., by way of bus. Debbie James, a member of Shoreline Artists, wants as many artists as possible to be aware of the opportunity.

“There is such a wealth of artistic talent in this area that it would be a shame for people to be unaware of this opportunity,” said James in an email to The Hub.

The Toronto show, one of three Coast to Coast Artwave events in Canada runs from Thursday to Sunday, April 7 to 10 and Friday includes an exhibit hall, a variety of painting classes (registration required) as well as ‘Art in the City’ in the evening.

A bus will depart from Rowland’s in Port Elgin at 7 a.m. and from the Southampton Coliseum at 7:15 a.m.
