Kindermusik cares is holding a fundraising event in support of Saugeen Shores Refugee Fund February 8 through 12. Those who sign up are promised “multi-sensory musical fun” as music about family and friends is explored through singing, dancing, poems and instrument play.

“I believe in using my abilities to give back to my community and wanted to support the Saugeen Shores Refugee Fund,” said Deb McLaren with Kindermusik in an email to The Hub.

“Kindermusik is a music and movement program for children from birth to age 7 that uses music as the foundation for learning across all developmental domains,” she continued.

A variety of class options are available for the fundraising week:

Infants - Birth to Crawling - Tuesday, February 9, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. or Wednesday, February 10, 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.

Toddlers - Crawling to 24 Months - Monday, February 8, 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. or Wednesday, February 10, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Preschoolers - 2 to 4 Years - Thursday, February 11, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Families / All Ages - Birth to 6 Years - Monday, February 8, 9:30 to10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 10:45-11:45 a.m. or Friday, February 12, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

To be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 525 Ivings Drive, pre-registration is required as space is limited. Registration is by donation and charitable receipts will be issued for donations over $20 per family.
