The Chantry Island Cham-bettes Christmas Home Tour has almost arrived with the proceeds of the annual event going to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital.

This is the 7th year for the Christmas Home Tour, which takes place on Friday, November 13 from 6 p.m. To 9 p.m. and Saturday, November 14 from 11 a.m. To 4 p.m. It will feature eight homes throughout Saugeen Shores, each individually decorated by local designers to inspire ideas as to how you can decorate your own home.

The eight homes are the Everest home, 23 Deer Run Court, Southampton; the Hillmer home, 124 Grosvenor Street, Southampton; the Seaman home, 234 Emerald Drive, Southampton; the Sherwood home, 206 Beacon Lane, Southampton; the Patterson home, 482 Creekwood Drive, Southampton; the Zorzi home, 434 Biener Drive, Port Elgin; the Hartel home, 30 Fenton Drive, Port Elgin and the Moss home, 668 Gustavus Street, Port Elgin.

Tickets are $20 and are available at Cathy's Flowers 'N Treasure and Port's Emporium in Port Elgin and at Bayberry's of High Street in Southampton. Tickets will also be available at the door of the homes on the tour.

The Walker House in Southampton and Chester's Bar & Grill Co. in Port Elgin are offering specialty drinks and appetizers after the Home Tour on Friday night and there is a light lunch on Saturday at the Southampton United Church.
