All programs take place at the Visitor Centre Campfire Circle unless otherwise stated. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all park programs and events. If it’s raining, programs will run at the Visitor Centre.

Saturday, May 21, 7 p.m. - Marvelous MacGregor Evening Program
Do you know what makes MacGregor Point special? Join Kathleen to learn about all of the most important and most exciting features that make MacGregor marvelous.

Sunday, May 22, 10 a.m. - Wondrous Wetlands Children’s Program
Celebrate our wetlands and the long weekend with a pond study. Bring your thinking cap and help Maddie, Kate, and Alicia to identify the mysterious creatures that live in our wetland waters.

Sunday, May 22, 2 p.m. - Meet the Naturalist - Bears
What was that? A bear? What do we do? Bring your questions to the Park Store and learn the bear necessities of interacting safely with these incredible mammals.

Monday, May 23 10 a.m. - Batastic Children’s Program
Did you know that birds are not the only spring migrants? Come out for some information, fun games, and a colouring activity to welcome back our mosquito-eating fuzzy friends

These events are brought to you by the MacGregor Point Natural Heritage education staff with the generous support of the Friends of MacGregor Point Park.

The Huron Fringe Birding Festival will take place May 27 to June 5. During this time, the Visitor Centre will have alternate hours. See posted times for details.

MacGregor Point Provincial Park also has a series planned in June with special guest speakers, thanks to their sponsors for this year.

MacGregor Point celebrates 40 years this year so expect some special events and presenters... more to come.
