A near capacity crowd enjoyed the opening draw of the Port Elgin Chrysler 23 Ontario Tankard and Scotties at the Plex in Port Elgin Monday night.

In the featured game, Rachel Homan of the Ottawa Curling Club stole 4 in the 5th end on the way to a 10-5 win over Susan Froud of the Alliston Curling Club.

Other winners included Hollie Duncan, Isabelle Ladouceur, Carly Howard, and Lauren Mann.

The Tuesday morning draw at included the start to the mens tankard side most notably featuring games with Glenn Howard and John Epping.

Mike McEwen takes to the ice at 2:30pm Tuesday and Glenn Howard and Rachel Homan both return to the ice at 7:30pm Tuesday.
