Penetanguishene Curling Club's Team Howard is the provincial champion of the 2022 Ontario Tankard held in Port Elgin this past weekend.

The Port Elgin Chrysler ’22 Ontario Tankard presented by Bruce Power saw 12 teams face off to a limited capacity crowd at the Plex February 9 through 13.

Glenn Howard sat on the sidelines as the team's altnernate as Scott Howard, acting as skip, ushered the team to a 5-3 win over Team Epping.

Howard will go on to represent the province at the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier in Lethbridge, Alberta. The national competition is set to get underway March 4.
