Approximately 60 students from École Port Elgin Saugeen Central School have advanced to the Regional Track and Field meet, set for Kincardine June 15.

On May 25, junior and senior students took park in the in-school event, that featured Ball Throw, Triple and Long Jump, as well as sprint races.

The track event saw students compete against regional standards as well as each other. If three students raced each other and they all beat a certain time, they all received first place. However, only the top students were chosen for the Regional Track team.
