The 2020 drive saw Bruce County Paramedics Services joined by Saugeen Shores Fire and Saugeen Shores Police at four locations in Saugeen Shores and resulted in over 4,000 pounds of food and over $7,500 in donations.
Join Bruce County’s Paramedic Services (BCPS) and their local emergency service partners in Saugeen Shores December 10 for their annual Stuff The Ambulance Holiday Food & Toy Drive. All donations will be given to local food banks.
"Your generous contributions to this meaningful cause will support families in need in our communities," said Bruce County Warden Chris Peabody in a December 1 media release.
The Stuff The Ambulance Holiday Food & Toy Drive will be at four locations across Saugeen Shores December 10. Those wishing to donate can find them between 10am and 2pm at Vanderwerf's Independent, Canadian Tire, and Walmart in Port Elgin; and Foodland in Southampton.
BCPS will also be joined by their local emergency service partners at Walkerton Independent on December 5 from 11am to 1pm, at Wiarton Foodland on Sunday, December 11 from 11am to 3pm, and at Kincardine Sobey's on Saturday, December 17 from 10am to 2pm.
