Home and Community Support Services of Grey-Bruce have received a $17,400 donation, thanks to 100 Women Who Care (100WWC) Grey Bruce.

The donation came as a result of the group's September meeting, one of four meetings the group holds each year, and brings their 2022 tally to $48,900. In addition to their HCSS donation, the 100WWC donated $15,800 to the Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey and $15,700 to the Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce's Mental Health and Addiction Services.

"Our final meeting of the year is November 12, 2022 and we would love to have more women in the community who care about making a difference join us," said 100WWC Grey Bruce Chair Lynda Legge in an email to Saugeen Shores Hub.

The group meets four times a year and members can join with a commitment of a $100 donation at each of the four meetings. The recipient of each quarter's donation is made collectively. Now at 174 members, the group continues to grow and has long since exceeded their 100 member target.
