The Saugeen Shores Hospital Foundation (SMHF) has come up with a clever way to add to the CT Scanner coffers.

In a takeoff of the classic board game, Monopoly, they've created "Saugeen Shores Opoly," with an expected Spring 2022 release.

The game will cost $40 and pre-orders are now open. Businesses looking to claim their spot on the board through a sponsorship can email SMHF Executive Director Tracy Murray at tmurray@gbhs.on.ca.

A limited number of games will be made and an hour and a half into pre-sales, Murray said they're seeing business spots and copies both selling quickly.

SMHF launched their $3 million Bring Tom to Town campaign in October, 2021 with a goal of purchasing a CT scanner for the Southampton Hospital.
