Veterans, dignitaries and community members gathered on Thursday, November 11 in Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation to join in Remembrance Day ceremonies.

Following livestreamed services in 2020 due to COVID-19, gathering restrictions were lifted for 2021 and attendees were once again able to gather in person and were encouraged to practice social distancing.

Ceremonies were held at the cenotaphs in Port Elgin, hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 340; in Southampton, hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 155, and Saugeen First Nation.
