Thank You

To show appreciation for frontline workers’ commitment to their communities during these challenging times, Bruce Power will give more than $40,000 in gift cards recognize their contributions, said a Bruce Power media release May 19.

“We can’t personally thank everyone who has stepped up on the frontlines of this pandemic, so we wanted to show our appreciation to as many people as we could,” said Pat Dalzell, Bruce Power’s Head of Corporate Affairs. “We will give more than 4,500 gift cards to people who work in our grocery stores, daycares, hospitals and health clinics across Bruce, Grey and Huron counties. We thank everyone who is making a difference.”

The company provided gift cards for 640 grocery store workers across 32 locations; 3,500 staff working in 23 hospitals and clinics; and 430 workers at 42 local daycares.
