Now in our second year of the pandemic, tensions are high and citizens are frustrated. It was only a matter of time before a war broke out. Saugeen Shores Sign Wars has taken over the streets and social media streams of these otherwise calm and peaceful beach communities.
It’s not entirely clear who threw the first punch, but evidence suggests the perfectly manicured hands of The Spa Room in Port Elgin may not be as clean as they appear.
Insults are now recklessly flying back and forth between seemingly respectable establishments, to the point where the Saugeen Shores Police and Fire Department have gotten involved. Local authorities are urging residents to stay home to avoid being caught in the crossfire.
