Rachel Taylor, BCM&CC's new Development Officer
The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is pleased to announce that Rachel Taylor has joined their team in the Development Officer role, a position that oversees fundraising, Museum memberships, donations, and legacy giving, among other important revenue generating activities.
“The Development Officer position is an integral role within the Museum operations,” said Cathy McGirr, Director, Museum & Cultural Services in a March 17 media release. “The BCM&CC is fortunate to have Rachel join the team and will benefit from Rachel’s experience, education, and community-oriented mindset.”
Taylor has a wealth of experience in the areas of fundraising and fund development, said the press release, was most recently the Fund Development Manager with Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, and previously Fundraising Intern with Our Kids Grey Bruce Child & Family Services Foundation. Taylor holds a graduate certificate in Fundraising and Resource Development from Georgian College and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She is currently working towards her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification and designation.
