The numbers have been tallied and in addition to an unknown volume of toys and over $1,000 in gift cards, the 2020 Emergency Services Toy and Food Drive brought in over 4,000 pounds of food and over $7,500 in cash donations.

The Drive was held on Saturday, November 21 at four locations in Saugeen Shores, where volunteers from Saugeen Shores Fire, Saugeen Shores Police and Bruce County EMS collected items in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank.

All told, 4,326 pounds of food, $7,649 in cash, $1,225 in gift cards plus an unknown number of toys were donated. "The Emergency Services thank the public for their generosity, it all is greatly appreciated," read a December 21 update to Saugeen Shores Hub.
