As part of the $1 million Be a Light: Beating COVID-19 Together campaign, Bruce Power will provide families with an hour-long virtual holiday party that will feature music, magic, dancing and fun for the whole family.

In a December 9 media release from Bruce Power, Home for the Holidays, a Ross Petty production, will stream online from December 10 to 13. The holiday party will be available to anyone around the world at brucepower.com/event/home-for-the-holidays, with hopes families will either gather as a small group, or virtually with other family members, to enjoy the hour-long variety show.

“This will be a holiday season like no other, with few opportunities for youngsters to whisper their wishlist into Santa’s ear,” said Dwight Irwin, Bruce Power’s Acting Manager of Community Relations. “Local municipalities are doing a great job of adapting their regular holiday celebrations to be COVID-friendly, and we hope our Home for the Holidays virtual holiday party will be another way families can safely celebrate the season.”

"Home for the Holidays is a fun, interactive show that features singing and dancing for all ages, so we encourage you to share your family photos on social media," read the release. Use the hashtag #BeALight and tag Bruce Power, on Instagram or Facebook @BrucePowerNGS.
