The Southport Horticultural Society's annual plant sale fundraiser is a go. "The Town of Saugeen Shores and the Grey Bruce Health Unit has given the thumbs up to proceed," said President Sandra Carter in an email to Saugeen Shores Hub, adding "As with all things these days, changes are afoot."

Instead of the Boathouse in Southampton, the Southport Horticultural Society's plant sale fundraiser will take place at 3 Mohawk Drive in Southampton on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the majority of pots being priced at $5.

Payments are being accepted by e-transfer, credit card or cash and all current health and safety protocols will be strictly adhered to such as masks for all workers, hand sanitizer and metered entry to the sale area.

Directions: Coming from the south, turn left on the Sauble Beach Road, then right onto Ottawa Street, then another right onto Mississauga, followed by a left onto Pottawatomie. Follow the balloons!
