SS Police 1 560

On November 27, at approximately 3:03 p.m., Saugeen Shores Police Service (SSPS) was contacted by staff at Saugeen District Senior School (SDSS) upon the discovery of a graffiti message in relation to a bomb.

In a November 28 media release, all persons were removed from the school and SSPS members conducted a search of the school and investigated the circumstances surrounding the graffiti.

In order to aid in the investigation, the actual message and the investigation into the act of what the police are calling 'mischief' are not being disclosed.

At this time the SSPS believes there is no legitimate threat to the safety of the school, or the staff and students.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Saugeen Shores Police Service at 519-832-9200 or Crime Stoppers of Grey-Bruce at 1-800-222-8577.
