On Friday morning, October 18, a contractor laid out a preliminary design concept on the Port Elgin Main Beach parking lot, as part of the ongoing Waterfront Revitalization process.
In a Town of Saugeen Shores media release, it was stated that members of the public may see markings on the parking lot as the proposed project continues and that this step is one of many "in a careful and thoughtful process" that started in February, and will culminate in a presentation to both Council and the public when the design concept and negotiation is further developed.
“Members of Council and I look forward to seeing, along with the community, a proposed site plan when one is available,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
