Gold Quill award

Bruce Power employees Megan Adams, left, Section Manager of Communications; and Kathleen Scott, Registered Graphic Designer, accepted a Gold Quill Award for Excellence in Safety Communication from the International Association of Business Communicators at the group’s annual world conference in Vancouver on June 11.

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) presented Bruce Power with an IABC Gold Quill Award of Excellence in Safety Communication at the 2019 IABC World Conference in Vancouver June 11.

In a Bruce Power media release, for more than 40 years, IABC’s Gold Quill Awards have recognized excellence in strategic communications and are acknowledged as one of the most prestigious awards programs in the industry.

“It is an honour to be recognized for our commitment to excellence in safety communication,” said John Peevers, Bruce Power’s Director of Corporate Communications. “For us, it’s about communicating the importance of working safely so we all return home at the end of every day to our families, friends and loved ones.”
