A group of seven residents from Southampton have won a $5 million jackpot in the October 13, 2018 Lotto Max draw.

In a Lotto 6/49 media release, Lena Brigden, Carolyn Brigden, Charles Schmalz, Janice Carey, Marie Jones, Robert Buckton and Rose Shular, all of Southampton, were in Toronto to claim their prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Petro Canada on Goderich Street in Port Elgin.
