The Chantry Island Cham-bettes made a $3,000 contribution to The Women's Centre Grey and Bruce in Owen Sound's annual Adopt-a-Room campaign.

The Adopt-a-Room donation will provide a newly renovated family bedroom suite and shelter services to a woman and her children fleeing domestic abuse.

During a tour of the facility February 21, representatives from the Chantry Island Cham-bettes were able to see before- and after-room renovations.

The Women's Centre serves 100 plus women and 60 plus children each year as well as offers crisis support, court support and transitional outreach.
