Full of the Christmas spirit and on behalf of the Iota Phi, the Mink Lounge is once again collecting toys at their Port Elgin store for their second annual Christmas Toy Drive.
Toys can be dropped off at the store, located at 616 Goderich Street, any time during business hours (Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm). Iota Phi will be collecting the toys December 14 and then distributing them to local children.
Mink Lounge owner Season Neill said that last year's toy drive went really well. “We surpassed what we thought we would, so hopefully we'll do great again this year.”
Neill explained that she started collecting toys at her store because of her love for Christmas. “It's my favourite time of the year,” she said. “I love giving...I love making people happy around Christmas. It's sweet when you're able to make someone's Christmas better."
Neill is giving everyone who drops off a toy for the toy drive a $10 gift credit toward the beauty lounge services.
