With Canada Post in legal strike position as of September 26, the Town of Saugeen Shores has chosen to mail Voter Notification Letters ahead of schedule. In a September 21 media release, residents can expect to receive their letters in the mail by October 1st.

“The Voter Notification Letter provides voting instructions that enables electors to cast their vote using the internet or telephone,” said Linda White, Clerk at the Town of Saugeen Shores. “It is important that electors put their Voter Notification Letter in a safe spot until voting time.”

Voting in Saugeen Shores will start Friday, October 12 at 10 a.m. and end on Election Day, Monday October 22 at 8 p.m. Eligible electors who misplace their letter or do not receive one can visit the Municipal Office at 600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin where they will be issued a new Voter Notification Letter.
