The Mill Creek Bridge is open for business.

After a final wash down and without any fanfare or ribbon cutting the Bruce County Road 17 bridge over the Mill Creek is once again open for full public traffic flow.

Dan Austin of BM Ross unofficially declared it open at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 14 and said he hoped everyone would be happy about its availability.

The Westlinks development still needs to connect and complete the South sidewalk but the existing sidewalk once again offers stunning views of the old Mill Creek dam.

Following several months of work, delays and anticipation, the Mill Creek Bridge is open to traffic.

A final wash down September 14 readied the bridge.
