Great nieces and nephews of Sisters on Huron's Delores Sullivan were at it again on Wedensday, July 25 for their second annual Lemonade Sale, and all for a good cause.

“They did it last year too,” said Sullivan's niece and Sisters' Graphic Designer Claire Zidar-Triassi, adding that this year the trio decided to donate their proceeds to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) of Southampton.

“[Mental health is] something that we really feel for,” she said, “[something] we think is really important.”

The young philanthropists sold limeade and iced tea to passersby for $1 a glass. “We also have s'mores skewers, they're marshmallow, melted chocolate and graham cracker bits,” said Gabriel Triassi, age 10. “And we have a raffle for a smart watch and a ticket is $2,” he added.

In addition, the siblings had original artwork on offer. “The art is new this year,” said Claire. “They enjoy painting and they started it in the winter,” she said, adding it was at that time they decided to include the paintings in their summer sale.

By the end of the day their endeavour had raised $200 which was donated to the Southampton CMHA office the following day, July 26.
