Mike Pepe celebrated his 100th birthday on December 2 and was celebrated during Elgin Lodge’s monthly Pub Party December 22.

Fiddle music, a few bevies and a celebration of birthdays brought many Elgin Lodge residents out to the monthly “Pub Party” December 22.

In total nine residents celebrated birthdays during the month of December and were adorned with a corsage. Among them was centenarian Mechele (Mike) Pepe who turned 100 years old December 2. Billy Bray, Eileen Biener, Eva Kitzberger, Sophia Kollontay, Shirley LaFlamme, Garnet Ferguson, Jack Fotherby and Betty George were also celebrated at the Pub Party.

Betty George who celebrated her birthday December 7 sat with her friend Marion Ellis while they were entertained by Ron and Brenda Siddon, accompanied by Lodge resident Doug Sutherland, December 22.

Shirley LaFlamme who will be turning 92 on December 26 sat with son Bill LaFlamme at Elgin Lodge’s Pub Party December 22.

Music duo Ron and Brenda Siddon, accompanied by Lodge resident Doug Sutherland played many songs to the enjoyment of the residents December 22.

Dancing duo Irene and Maurice Rainville danced to one of their favourite tunes at Elgin Lodge's Pub Party December 22.
