Port Elgin's Blackboard Sound was on hand to answer questions and sign up new students at the 2016 Town of Saugeen Shores Fall & Winter Leisure Fair.

The Town of Saugeen Shores is gearing up for their annual Fall & Winter Leisure Fair for the 2017/2018 season.

The Fair will take place at The Plex on Wednesday, September 6 from 6-8pm and host 30 groups offering community programs and recreation for all ages!

Town and aquatic staff will be on hand to assist with municipal program and swim lesson registrations. Online registration for municipal programs and swim lessons will open at 6am on September 6. This timing is new for the fall and winter registration. No need to stay up until midnight to register anymore. 

Programs are open for viewing starting Wednesday, August 30. The public is encouraged to visit saugeenshores.ca/register to ensure their account is set up and ready to go prior to registration opening. They can search for the programs and swim lessons they are interested in and add it to their wishlist. Once registration opens at 6am, online users can easily add the program from their wishlist to their cart and complete the registration process.

PLEASE NOTE: names for swimming lessons have changed from the Red Cross Lesson program to the Lifesaving Society Lesson program. The level of teaching standard is the same, only the names have changed. The new program descriptions and a lesson conversion chart are available at saugeenshores.ca/pool.
