Bruce Power employees once again showed their compassion for fellow Canadians July 20 by donating $10,000 to the Red Cross for fire relief in British Columbia.
“Much like our employees did last year during the devastating wildfires in Alberta, our employees have banded together to ensure the thousands of displaced British Columbians can access the necessary supplies for their families,” said James Scongack, Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Environment.
Those who wish to donate can do so through the Bruce Power portal on the Red Cross website.
Donations have provided immediate relief such as cots, blankets, family reunification as well as financial assistance so individuals and families can acquire food, clothing, shelter, and anything else that can help them recover, the Red Cross website states.
