Bottles upon bottles were collected outside of The Beer Store in Port Elgin on June 24 for the second annual Bottles for Boobies, which raised $930 in support of Kelly Shires Snow Run; a ladies-only snowmobile ride, where participants raise money for breast cancer patients.
Dressed in pink and donning pink accents, co-organizers Kari Baker and Amy Gregorio had a few more helping hands than they had last year and they made sure that all the profits go towards the Snow Run.
The two staged their outdoor location with decorations paid for out of their own pocket and everyone who donated alcoholic containers was given the chance to win a $50 LCBO gift card with this year was awarded to cottager Larry McArthur from Hamilton.
Carts upon carts were brought into The Beer Store in Port Elgin during the Bottles for Boobies fundraiser.
Amy Gregorio was in pink from head to toe to promote the event in support of Kelly Shires Snow Run which raises funds to help women afflicted with breast cancer.
